Accessibility Statement

This site adheres to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Some components of the platform contain errors in violation of these standards, however; the errors have been thoroughly testing with assistive technology to understand their impact. The errors listed below have not shown to pose a significant impact to assistive technology users.

Known Accessibility Issues

SCORM Page Title tags

When opening SCORM learning objects in courses, the new window contains an empty title tag. Learners can ignore this empty tag because the title of the object is described as the H1 tag.

SCORM iframe titles

Inside the SCORM objects there are iframes for components such as videos. A title cannot be manually added to the iframe so it remains absent for now. Learners can use the heading tags for the component description instead of relying on the title tag for the iframe.

Invalid ARIA references

Some menus have invalid ARIA references in the HTML, particularly in the menus. These errors have been tested in NVDA and did not impact user experience. Learners who encounter roadblocks using their assistive technology are encouraged to contact support.
